Biography

Nancy Maxwell is an artist member of Art Lending of Ottawa, the Kanata Civic Art Gallery, the Nepean Fine Arts League and is a Fellow of the Ottawa Watercolour Society (F.O.W.S.).

Her works have been exhibited in local art societies, at which her paintings have won awards and at local art galleries in eastern Ontario.

In her home studio, she paints to suit herself and her mood at the moment; whatever strikes a chord. She loves to experiment with colours, in acrylics and watercolours.

Her training has been with Ralph Burton, Jack Reid, Murray Smith, Morton Baslaw, Bill Zuro, Zoltan Szabo, Randolph Parker, Margaret Roseman and Brent Heighton.

Nancy currently displays her work at Art Lending of Ottawa, Kanata Civic Gallery and the Ron Maslin Playhouse.
