Biography

Christine Osborne is a life-long Ottawa resident who began her artistic journey 15 years ago while at home caring for her young children. A self-taught artist, she began with drawing and illustration before expanding into acrylic painting. Her art draws inspiration from the local surroundings and wildlife of Ottawa, rendered in a realistic style.

Christine’s love for practicing art allows her to appreciate the beauty surrounding her every day.

Christine is a three-year member of the MAA, and has recently participated its “Inspirations” art showcase, as well as the “Spring Art Festival” by Art in the Neighbourhood and the Canterbury Community Association. Her artwork has been displayed at the Art House Cafe, Atomic Rooster and the Electric Street Art Gallery.
