Door prizes available to be won
Art by over forty local juried artists includes affordable oils, acrylics, watercolours, mixed media, encaustics, ink, pastels, photography, printmaking, and mosaics.
Art displayed at each art show is limited by available wall space. To rent or purchase a specific art item in our online gallery, please contact us. You will be contacted to confirm your requested art will be available for pickup at the next Art Lending of Ottawa art show.

Art shows are scheduled on a Saturday every 3 months. Visit our artists’ galleries to place an art rental or purchase order online and arrange art show pickup.

Art Show Information from Community Newspapers
Art Lending of Ottawa offers a wide variety of art. There is more than oil, acrylic, mixed media and watercolour paintings on display at our art shows. Some of our artists work in photo-based art, pastel, encaustics, mosaics, ink and printmaking.
Marie Léger, for example has been with us for many, many years and is now working with encaustics. This medium goes back to antiquity, is becoming more and more popular. It involves using molten beeswax mixed with resin and pigments. For Marie, the unexpected textures, and results of encaustics keep the painting process exciting and fresh. Drop by our art show to see examples of this intriguing medium that allows the creation of layers, textures, and great luminosity.
Some of our artists are members of the West Carleton Arts Society, and we are thankful for the society’s aid with grid rentals for our shows.
