Become a "Focus Show" Artist

  • If you have sufficient work to fill three panels and would like to be part of an up-coming Focus Show, please contact Lu Jonescu.  Your name will be added to her list for a designated show.  You might also be called upon to substitute on short notice if a scheduled artist cancels.  Or you may add your name to the list on the bulletin board during regular exhibition hours.

Information for Art Lending Artists

  • Gallery Pages and Bios

Each active artist is permitted a Gallery page consisting of four (4) of your current pieces of artwork as well as a Bio.  To create a Gallery Page or add your Bio contact the Webmaster for instructions.
Do not try to upload onto the website as these two functions are currently not available:
Post your Biography or Artist's Statement
    Add New Images

  • Changes / Additions / Feedback

To update an email address or to add a link to your web site, please use feedback form to provide the information directly to the Webmaster.  The Webmaster is an unpaid volunteer: please allow time for your new information to be posted.
  • Hanging Times on Tuesday:

Hanging:      4 - 7 pm ONLY  Artists may not hang new work at any other time during the show.
Sign-in:        5 - 7 pm
Show begins:  7:00 pm

  • Portfolios and Packing Cases

Do not leave empty portfolios, cases and packing material in the church on Tuesday night after hanging the exhibition.  These items must be taken home by the artist.

  • Pick-up on Wednesday Night

If you cannot pick up your own artwork on Wednesday night, please arrange with another artist, friend, or family member to do this for you.  All artwork must be picked up on Wednesday evening.  Unclaimed artworks will no longer be left at the Church.

  • Food and Drink

Please observe the signs the church has posted.  Food or drink is allowed ONLY in the kitchen and the fellowship hall (gallery).  Do not bring food or drink into the church area.

  • Exhibition Hanging and Arrangement

The volunteer "hanger" will hang returned paintings and reorganize the panels to ensure an attaractive and well organized exhibition.  Consequently when you retrieve your paintings on Wednesday evening they may not be where you arranged them on Tuesday.  Also remember to retrieve any rented paintings that have been returned.

When hanging your work on Tuesday, please do not replace work that is already hanging with your own.  The volunteer hanger will re-arange the display later if necessary.

Do not hang work in the "Focus Show" area unless you are one of the Focus Artists.  The volunteer hanger, at his or her discretion, choose to hang returned paintings in this area should space permit.

Please place larger artwork on the window ledge rather than on the panels to allow the smaller paintings "breathing space" and create a more attractive display.

Do not use more than two (2) panels to display your work.  If you require more space, consider becoming a "Focus Show" artist.
